Volunteers are extremely important to the success of the Flight Path Museum LAX. Volunteers have a choice of roles, including greeting visitors and answering questions about the exhibits and the airport; escorting school classes and other groups on tours; responding to inquiries; aiding researchers; helping with publicity and community outreach activities; assisting with special events; and helping with other details in the operation of the Museum. Orientation and training are provided to all Volunteers.
Become a Volunteer
Volunteers (age 18 and older) are needed to serve as museum docents, greeters, and tour conductors. We’re also looking for volunteers who can build and maintain exhibits, assist with record keeping and social media, assist in our research library, and with special events on and off-site (weekdays, weekends and evenings).
Love of aviation
We’re looking for volunteers who have a love of aviation and a desire to share that enthusiasm with others. Most needed are regularly scheduled volunteers but flexible and on-call volunteers are also welcome.
