Flight Path President, LAX Airport Historian and airport planner Jean-Christophe Dick will dive into the LAWA/LAX Photo archives and documents while narrating the history of the world’s sixth busiest airport. Discussing how and why the site for LAX as first chosen, its slow start, World War II, the first commercial flight, the construction of the first jet terminals, all the way to the present.
The program ends at 7:30, however a follow on discussion will go until 8:00pm.
